Please make sure the UPD tool is loaded onto your PC before commencing.
Make sure the unit is plugged into power but not turned on.

PLEASE NOTE:- YOU WILL NEED A NINE PIN CROSSOVER CABLE.

1.Connect the 9-pin Female-female crossover cable from the RS-232 port on the
back of the STB to COM port 1 on the back of your PC.

2. Enter into the UPD tool

3. Tick the box top right hand corner and select the software by pressing on the browse
 button and selecting the software file (the software is in a .UPD file format).


4. power up the set top box 

5. the update will begin

6. When finished, the front panel of set top box will display "END" 

7. Update finished. Power off unit and exit.
